Day 8 -January 11, 2026 - At Sea - King Neptune Ceremony

The King Neptune Ceremony (or "Crossing the Line") is a centuries-old maritime tradition held on Holland America Line ships when crossing the equator.

Newbie crew/passengers ("Pollywogs") are initiated by King Neptune and his court into the realm of "Trusty Shellbacks"

through lighthearted pranks, fictional court charges, and the famous ritual of kissing a dead fish.
