Day 122, Monday, May 26 2025 - Qaqortoq also known as Julianehåb (Greenland)
The oldest fountain in Greenland is the Mindebrønden (Memorial Fountain) in Qaqortoq, completed in 1932 after construction began in 1929.
Designed by architect Pavia Høegh, this is the first and oldest of the two public fountains in Greenland, featuring bronze whales spouting water from their blowholes to reflect the town's whaling tradition.
