HAL tour "St Andrews: Home of Golf" - On the bus to see the medieval town of St Andrews and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club, the home of golf. This was a Holland America Line tour due to the distance to St Andrews and wanting to get back to the ship.
The town of St Andrews is most famous as the home of golf, but is also well known for its university, the oldest higher-learning institution in Scotland.
St Andrews faces the sea from above a wide bay on the coast of Fife. The town takes its name from the Apostle Andrew.
