Day 98, Friday, May 2 2025 - Brest, France
After Morlaix, the bus took us to Chateau de Kerjean, built around 1550. Kerjean is surrounded by both inner and outer fortifications.
Château de Kerjean is a 16th-century fortified chateau located close to the town of Saint-Vougay. It was originally built for members of the Barbier family between the 1540s and 1590s. Both a fortress and a symbol of the Renaissance in Brittany, it was strongly influenced by Italian architects.
