Bumba Meu Boi is a legend about a resurrected ox and is a competition between two groups
that is performed between the Boi Garantido (red) and Boi Caprichoso (blue).
They compete in telling a story with each team attempting to outdo the other with flamboyant dances, singing, and parade floats.
