Holland America Line tour with Cruise Specialist "Lisbon City Sights & Mystical Sintra"
The statue was inaugurated in 1960 to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator.
The 151 foot monument was created in the shape of a ship bow overlooking the Targus River.
There are 33 statues of knights, queens, explorers, scientists and other figures from this era.
