Day 28 - Janruary 30, 2023 - Nuku'Alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga - Captain Cook Landing Site - Jane and Jack
Captain Cook first landed in the Tongan islands on October 2, 1773 on his second Pacific voyage.
He returned in 1774 for four days.
He named the island the “Friendly Islands” after receiving a warm welcome and necessary supplies.
