Day 4 Juneau, Alaska - NorthStar Trekking Extended Helicopter Glacier Trek - Mendenhall Glacier
Five hour tour that included transportation from Juneau to the airport where we geared up and were briefed on safety. The 25 minute helicopter ride to Mendenhall Glacier was very smooth.
Three hours hiking the glacier that included climbing and repelling a vertical ice wall. We also drank the glacier water….who knew that water could taste that good!
We enjoyed everything about this tour and would do it again. It was the highlight of our Alaskan cruise. Our experience, the guides and the tour operator exceeded our expectations.
