Day 6 Cozumel, Mexico - Tour of the Mayan Ruins of Tulum
After the ship docked at Cozumel, we traveled by passenger ferry to Playa del Carmen where we boarded a bus for a one hour ride to the Tulum Mayan ruins. The ruins are located along the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea. The 800 year old ruins, abandoned by the end of the 1500s, are protected by 39 foot cliffs.
